Detroit Pistons Defeated Boston Celtics 94-75
The Detroit Pistons defeated the Boston Celtics 94-75 on Monday night to even the Eastern Conference finals series at two games apiece.

Antonio McDyess, who was part of last season's Pistons team that lost in the Eastern conference finals to Cleveland in six games. Last year, the veteran had an average of 5.8 points in that series and was left feeling like he could have done more. However, this time, McDyess had a game high 21 points and 16 rebounds on Monday, in Game 4 of the conference finals. The 33- year- old forward hit 8 of 14 field goals and 5 of 6 free throws in his best performance this postseason.

The game was not as unequal as the score shows, as the Celtics were down just four points with less than five minutes to play. However, the Pistons’ McDyess was in a great shape and led his team to the long awaited victory.

The Pistons went for a 10-0 run in the first quarter, but Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce struggled to take it to the Pistons. Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, who each scored 16 points, went into the second half trailing with only four points.

But Detroit again had a great start and went on a 11-2 run at the beginning of the third quarter and in the end McDyess and Hamilton’s team proved to be too strong for the Celtics’ defense.

Richard Hamilton scored 20 points and had seven assists, which, along with McDyess’ rebounds played an important role in the final score of the game.

Rasheed Wallace and Jason Maxiell had 14 points for the Pistons, who closed the game with a 16-2 run.
